During
the last day of our stay in Bastogne we visited the villages were Easy
Company stayed during their last days of the war in Belgium. One of
those villages was important for Walt Sawosko because there his brother
Carl was killed in action by a German sniper. |

Walt
Sawosko next to the house from where the sniper killed his brother Carl.
He was in the upper window. After Easy Company had located him they took
him under fire and killed him. After 61 years the marks from the attack
of Easy are still visible. |
